(P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Negotiations are continuing between the executive of the Town Milk Producers’ Federation and Government departments concerning the. amount of compensation for the loss of dairy cows condemned after TB testing. The federation statement issued today reports that a meeting was held yesterday with Mr E. J. Fawcett Director-G.encrai of Agriculture, and Mr H. 11. limes, Director of Milk Marketing, Concrete proposals covering liability for compensation were discussed. The town milk industry considers TB testing of herds desirable, but claims that as the matter is one of national importance the state should bear the major cost of compensation.
