American Athletes To Tour Dominion

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Advice has been received by the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association that John T. Fulton, American 600 metres champion, had now definitely accepted the association’s offer .to visit New Zealand, said the chairman (Mr H. I. Austad) at a meeting last night.

According to the cablegram from the Amateur Athletic Union of the United States, Fulton was capable of lrnin. 51see. for the half-mile and 48sec. for the quarter-mile. The union also advised that Hershey. who in the shot putt betters 52ft, and in the discus throw* betters 155 ft, would also be available for the New Zealand tour.
