Scout Jamboree In Auckland, 1949
(P.A.) AUCKLAND, This Day. Scouts from all over the world will come to the Dominion in 1949 when, according to present plans, the world scout jamboree will be held at Auckland, probably in the holiday summer of that year. Australia has already indicated that 1000 Commonwealth scouts will attend and others will come from America, Great Britain, and other European countries, the Pacific Islands, and West Indies.
