Mystery, Action At Regent,
A double-feature programme of mystery and action is now showing at the Regent. The main picture is entitled ‘‘Voice of the Whistler" and is a further film in which this terrifying character is featured. Richard Dix and Lynn Merrick take the leading roles and their acting keeps a story which is already full of excitement and thrills at a pitch of suspense throughout. They are ably supported by Rhys Williams and Tom Kennedy. The other feature is “Rendezvous 24," an amazing story centred round one of the world’s greatest secrets — .the atom bomb. The film'is timely in its implications and provides good action, entertainment. William Green. t Pat O’Moore and Maria Palmer take .the starring i*ole.
