Talks Supervisor For Radio Service

(From Our Orr^mondont) WELLINGTON. This Day. The appointment of Mr J. 11. Hall as supervisor of talks for the National Broadcasting Service in succession to Mr Alan E. Mulgan, who is. retiring from the position shortly, was announced today by the Public Service Commissioner’s office. Mr Hall is one of New Zealand’s best known journalists. Posts that have been held by Mr Hall have included those of editor of the Christchurch Sun and Dominion. Wellington. After the outbreak of the recent war he was associated with Mr J. T. Paul, Director of Publicity. He relinquished that position on his appointment as first New Zealand official war correspondent. Mr Hall was captured during the campaign in Greece and was a prisoner of war until last year. He is at present public relations officer in the Railways Department.
