Load Coal For Dargaville
(Special) GREYMOUTH, This Day. The dispute which delayed the Titoki at Greymouth was settled yesterday afternoon, although no work was carried out on the vessel until last evening, when the loading of coal for Dargaville was resumed. The waterside workers refused to work fhe vessel on Wednesday except on condition that they carry out certain tasks usually undertaken by a man appointed from the vessel's crew. The crew refused to take the vessel to sea if this work was carried out by the waterside workers anc a deadlock was reached. Heavy coal traffic from the West Coast to the east is being maintained. The condition of the Grey bar permits the passage of colliers, but the* amount of shipping working the port is small and the Westpcrt harbour is not in good order. Tin? position will be alleviated probamy next week, when the large ships which took coal to Auckland return.
