Men At Farm Schools

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day To clarify the position regarding allowances payable to servicemen not yet discharged, but attending agricultural and othfer colleges with rehabilitation assistance, the Rehabilitation Board has decided on the following policy, states the Rehabilitation Department.

Servicemen on leave other than discharge will not be eligible for the allowance. If on discharge leave they will receive it. but from it will be subtracted the amount of subsistence allowance they receive from the branch of the service to which they belong. In the case of men receiving pensions, a disability pension in no way affects the position, but the payment of the allowance will in all probability affect any economic pension they receive.
