Widows Who Re-Marry
(Special) HAMILTON, This Day. Figures showing the number of widows between 45 and 65 who had remarried, were produced by a witness in a civil action in the Supreme Court, Hamilton. Mr. Justice Fair remarked thai there was more likelihood of a widow of 46 or 47 remarrying than in the case of a woman of, say, 60 years, although he recalled a divorce action heard by him in which a wife of 72 sought divorce from a husband of 75 after a marriage of nine months' duration. His Honor said that the wife indicated, her intention to remarry.
