New Cruiser, Destroyer To Be Built In Australia
ADELAIDE, This Day
A new cruiser and destroyer arc to be built in Australia at a cost of £4.500,000 and would take five years the Minister for the Navy (Mr Malon). who said the cruiser would cost about £4,500,00/ and would take five years to complete. The Minister added that this might be the start of a 10 years’ building programme.
