United Nations Day In Washington

WASHINGTON, June 10.

President Roosevelt has invited representatives of the United Nations to the Flag Day ceremony at the White House on June 14, when he will welcome Mexico joining the United Nations.

The Mexican Ambassador will sign the joint declaration against the Axis Powers, pledging no separate armistice or peace.

President Roosevelt will give a oneminute broadcast on United Nations’ Day. June 14, which is Monday, 10.50 a.m.. New Zealand time.
