New Vicarages At Kaikohe, Kaeo

[Special to “Northern Advocate”! AUCKLAND, This Day. The recommendations of the commission to investigate the boundaries of the parishes and parochial districts in the archdeaconary of Waimate were reported upon by Bishop Simkin in his address to synod this morning. The Bishop stated that to carry out the recommendations two new vicarages, one at Kaikohe and one at Kaeo would be required. Grants for travelling, for provision of cars and in aid of stipends would be necessary for some time, but with systematic and intensified work these grants would diminish year by year, and eventually the new work undertaken should be self-supporting.
