9 New Age Groups To Register
LONDON, May 9. The King today signed a fourth proclamation covering the registration for military service of nine new groups, 19 t-o 36 years, inclusive. This represents 2,500.000 men. Hitherto those up to 27 have been made liable to. be called up. The men will be called up by age groups at the rate of one group a month, unless the military situation requires more.
It is expected that the groups will contain comparatively fewer men actually available for military service than the younger age groups, as they contain more men in reserved occupations.
