Two Enemy Planes Downed Off Scottish Coast
(Received 2 p.m.) LONDON, May 9. The Air Ministry announces: “An R.A.F. fighter snot down an enemy plane off the north-east coast of Scotland shortly before midday.” The Air Ministry later announced that a second plane was shot down in combat in the same area.
