Otamatea County Council Meets
Mr. R. Coates presided at the usual monthly meeting of the Otamatea County Council in Paparoa on Wednesday. The Whangarei County Council advised that the royalty on metal taken from Bell’s quarry had been increased from 3d to 4d per cubic yard. , From three applicants Mr. O'. Dodds, of Paparoa, was selected for the position of dog registrar.
A request from the New Zealand Crippled Children Society for a donation received no support, the letter being merely received. The Otamatea Regatta Club was given permission to use the Pahi wharf on regatta day.
