Brothers Remanded On Intoxication Charge
Two brothers, W. C. Pole, 19, and J. A. Pole, 20, both of Kaikohe, were charged yesterday with having driven a car while intoxicated.
They were remanded, bail being fixed at £IOO in each case.
It was alleged that, following the marriage of their sister, they were driving down Broadway when the vehicle collided with the door of a stationary car. Mr. Tom Hohepa, of Waima, was stepping from the stationary car at the time, and one of his legs was slightly bruised.
