[Per Press Association. Copyright.']

WEferNGTON, This Day,

Opposition to the expenditure of £70,000 on a new building for radio Station IZB was expressed by delegates to the Dairy Conference. A remit was carried protesting to the Government.

Speakers expressed the opinion that' the expenditure was not justified while the country was at war.

The mover of the resolution, Mr P. Davies (Bush District), said that if the Government wanted propaganda, the Labolir Party should pay for it. Mr C. P. Agar regretted the mention of politics. The remit, he said, should bo taken on the economic basis, without consideration of the party. No matter what Government was in power, there would haf'e been a protest at such expenditure during a war.
