Mrs. Bispham’s Birthday Honoured

Mrs Bispham was the, guest at a delightful afternoon on Saturday last in Celebration of her birthday. The function was held in the Parochial Hall and over 70 people attended.

Acting as hostesses were Mesdames K. V. Halliday, L. Hanlon, French, H. W. Crawford and W. T. Surman.

Mrs Bispham was presented with a bouquet on entering the hall, and a presentation was made to her by Mrs K. T. Steele.

A beautiful cake, made by a friend of the guest of honour, was cut by Mrs Bispham at afternoon tea. Items were given by Mrs Marsden Woods, Mrs R. Stevenson and Miss Dorothy Steele (songs), Mrs T. J. Griffin (recitation), and the Misses Broughton-Carr and Mrs W. L. Booth (sketch).
