First Trans-Atlantic Passenger Service
NEW YORK, June 12
The first trans-Atlantic passenger air service between the United States and Europe will begin on June 28, according to Pan American Airways. Giant flying boats with a capacity of 7 passengers will make weekly flights, taking about 44 hours flying between New York and Marseilles.
