Has Hitler Plan For Economic Reshuffle?
LONDON, June 10,
Diplomatic circles in Paris were advised this morning from Berlin that Herr Hitler was planning to make a definite proposition to Britain, France and the United States for a settlement of the problems which are causing world tension, says 'a despatch from the French capital. The plan was believed'to Be for an economic reshuffle to secure for the Reich raw materials. The report stated that the plan woulcf be announced by Herr Hitler early in July, when he was expected to make a speech at the launching of a new battleship. , It was understood, added the message, that Viscount Halifax’s speech had phved the way for the latest development.
Another message from Berlin, however, says it is stated' in' high quarters that so far as is known, the Fuehrer has no such scheme in mind.
