Boxing And Wrestling At Territorial Camp

Boxing and wrestling at the Mounted Rifles damp, Kensington Park, attracted a largo gathering of the public as well as the Territorials themselves on Saturday evening. With excellent talent available in the camp, an interesting tournament with local boys was possible. In the boxing section, Payn.tcr, Farrell and Hughes, of Whangarei, all won their bouts, after exciting contests. The wrestling was also of a high standard, a big feature being an exhibition bout between two of the Territorials. The tournament was staged in an open-air ring in front of the main stand, Mr Ross Nelson, Whangarei. acting as Referee,
