The monthly meeting of the Mama Women’s Institute was held in the hall on May 4, Mrs McQueen presiding over six members. The competition for three kinds of biscuits was won by Mrs Day, with Mrs Harrison second and Mrs D. McInnis third. A competition arranged by Mrs Harrison for guessing the largest number of salt water fish, was won by Mrs D. Mclnnis. The afternoon was brought to a close with tea, served by Mrs Billington. » » e *
