The competition for apple shortcake with one egg, was won by Mrs S, Smith, with Miss I. Gubb second. The hand sewing, gathering into a band, competition was won by Mrs Stubbs, who had two entries judged equal. The bloom for the month was won by Miss Joyce Littin, with Mrs R. D. Leslie second.
