Whareora

The April meeting of the Whareora Institute, presided over by the president. Mrs Raynel, was well attended. A visit from Miss Warrington, of Whangarei, was greatly enjoyed by the members. The school children under their teacher, Miss Pitney, were in attendance and watched with interest Mi'}3 Warrington’s demonstration of physical culture methods. Miss Warrington also performed a Grecian dance.

Mrs McLelland was congratulated by the president on being elected to the executive of the Whangarei Fed-

eration. A novel competition was arranged by Mrs Gorrie. An enjoyable afternoon was closed by the singing of the National Anthem. * w # *
