It was decided to change the date of the dance to avoid clashing with the fixture to be held by the rowing club, Whangarei. A report was read by Mrs Cartwright, delegate to the half-yearly council meeting of the district federation. The roll call was the oldest thing we have in the home.
A competition was won by Mrs E. Hodgson. Members were that all entries for the Centennial exhibition close on September 1. Institute songs brought to a close a pleasant afternoon. Hostesses were Mesdames Whimp. Pulman. Drake and Cartwright. jfc A * <<
