Motorised Squadron Moving North
[Special to “Northern Advocate ”] AUCKLAND, This Day.
A total of 148 officers and men of “A” Squadron, Fourth Mounted Rifles (Motorised), passed through Auckland today frpm Paeroa on their way to Narrow Neck and later to the camp of the First Composite Mounted Rifles Regiment at Whangarei'. Tomorrow afternoon they will carry out a tactical exercise between Wellsford and Warkworth with members of the North Auckland Regiment. The squadron will spend the night at Wellsford and continue north on Sunday for Whangarei.
