New Equipment Needed At Hospital
Existing equipment in the physio- 1 therapy department of the Whangarei District* Hospital is old and will need to be replaced if increased work is carried but. This was the opinion of the Acting-Director-General of Health when writing to the Whangarei Hospital -Board yesterday. “When Miss M. L. Roberts paid a recent visit of inspection to the physio-therapy department of your hospital she unfortunately found the masseuse aw,ay on holiday,” the letter stated. “Miss Roberts in-her report remarks, however, that the existing equipment is old and if increased work is carried out it will be necessary to consider up-to-date apparatus.”
