Good Wool Sale at Napier; Almost Total Clearance Effected

[Special to “Northern Advocate”] NAPIER, This Day. SATISFACTORY PRICES WERE REALISED AT THE THIRD NAPIER WOOL SALE OF THE SEASON YESTERDAY. The market was fully on a par with the January Napier offering, and, on recent quotations, prices could be quoted as being slightly in growers’ favour, 1 There were 27,000. bales on offer, and less than 1 per cent, was passed. The top price yesterday was 14|d.. while other ocasional lines made up to 14}d. Lincoln crossed wool, which topped the sale, and which was in such strong demand in January, was entered in only small quantities yesterday, and the best price was 13d. for a line of hogget. The bulk of the fleece wools ranged from 9cl to 10.’d. several other lines bringing to lid. ; Lambs’ wool sold from 9d to ll.}d. with the top price 12:’,d.
