Boner Cattle In Demand At Kamo

The North Auckland Farmers’ Coop. Limited reports a fair yarding at its weekly Kamo sale yesterday. The entry was mainly of boner cattle which met with keen competition, prices being fully up to late rates. Dairy stock sold well at improved prices. Good springing cows made from £6 to £7; Jersey heifers, £5 10/; light fat cows, £5 to £6; heavy boner cows, £3 6/ to £4 5/; lighter, £2 10/ to £3 2/; boner bulls, heavy, £7 10/; light, £5 to £0; cows and calves, £2 15/ to £3 10/; store pigs, £2 4/; slips, 24/6; weaner pigs, 14/6; inferior aged ewes, 2/6.
