Rumanian Fascists Plot Rebellion
[lndependent Cable Service .l (Received 10 a.m.) t BUCHAREST, January 26. It is officially stated that 27 members cf'the Rumanian Iron Guard, including lawyers, an oil company director and students, have been arrested for a plot to destroy public buildings with flame-throwers and incendiary bombs, and overthrow the Government. The plot was discovered after a mystery explosion in a private laboratory belonging to one of those arrested, Lieutenant Dumintrescu. who hanged himself in gaol.
It is stated that his was the master mind behind the plot.

South County Council yesterday. Mr. S. Reid, complained of the “overbearing, Insulting, bullying,” manner of a road traffic inspector controlling the roads in the county. He added that civility cost nothing. It was decided to write to the Transport Department asking that Inspectors he more courteous and civil in the performance of their duties'.
When the (Drama arrived at Plymouth from Australia it was revealed that the ship’s storekeeper named Lipscombe. a resident of London became' ill after leaving Port Said. The vessel went off her course 100 miles to Malta where he was sent to hospital for a blood transfusion, but he died there.
