Kaitaia Swimming Club Formed

• With the . attention focussed on “Learn-tq-Swim” Week, it is quite appropriate that Kaitaia should move to have a swimming club formed. At a recent meeting of enthusiasts under the direction of the Kaitaia Physical Culture Club, the proposal met with an enthusiastic reception. Officers were elected in the persons of Messrs F. Gair,, Dixon, V. fktokle, L. Switzer and:Miss Bannister. ‘" The club is proposing to conduct a carnival within the - next few weeks, and, '-it is proposed to link up the activity with the “learn to swim” campaign.
