Onerahi Personals

Mr and Mrs C. Staveley, of Auckland, were the guests of Mr and Mrs P. J. Mcllvride for a few days.

During a tour of the North, Mr and Mrs J. C. Milnes and daughter Marjorie, of . Levin, also spent a few days in Onerahi as the guests of Mr and Mrs Mcllvride. •

Mrs C. Brown, of Sydney, was the guest of Mrs T, Beasley, senr., for a week. Mrs Brown, who at one time resided at Patua Bay and Waikaraka, had a very enjoyable time looking up bid friends and relatives, whom she had not seen for many years. Mr and Mrs George Griffiths and their son, of Ponsonby, Auckland, have returned home after a very enjoyable tdur of Northland, during which they visited Onerahi and spent .a week with Mr Griffiths* sister, Mrs A* E. Beasley. Mr ancl Mrs Clarke, and family, of Whareora, have returned home after baching' at Onerahi. Mr and Mrs A. S. Fagan and their two sons, David and Keith, have been occupying their new bach at Onerahi. Mr and Mrs Creamer and infant daughter, Whangarei, are camping, at Stevens- Point. Mrs R. Woods and Mr and Mrs Ogier4nd family, Whangarei, ",are holidaying at “Rookery Nook,” Stevens’ Point.

Miss Madge Parkes, Hamilton, is the guest of Mr and Mrs G. Hawkes. Mrs Francis and family, of Ohgarue, are the guests of Mrs Francis’ mother, Mrs E, Rule. Mr and Mrs J. Pullman and infant daughter, and Mrs P. Pullman, senr., have arrived from Wellington to spend a month’s holiday in the district.

Mr E. Hodren and daughter Patty are home again from a very enjoyable visit to relatives at New Plymouth and Hawera.

Master 5 Neville Whitelaw, who has been a patient at the Whangarei District Hospital for the past three months, is progressing favourably. After a week in hospital, Miss Doreen Wallace is home again, and well on the road to recovery. Mr I. Collinson and his bride (formerly Miss H. G. Peachey, Whangarei), have .taken up residence in the township.
