Empire Meat Council to Consider Dominion Views
LONDON, January 24. The Empire Meat Council has received communication from New Zealand and Australia, which it is considered warrants a meeting of the Counsil on January 31 to reconsider the position. Official circles refuse to discuss the Dominions’ opposition to the imposition of restrictions, but it is believed the forthcoming meeting will enable the Council to, forward a scheme to the Board of Trade. The Government is anxious for a settlement of the question before the assembly of Parliament.
