Czech Co-operation Promised Germany
BERLIN, January 22. An official spokesman said that Dr. Chvalkovsky, Foreign Minister of Czechoslovakia, was given to understand in the course of talks with Herr Hitler and Herr von Ribbentrop, that there should be no room in Czechoslovakia for a policy directed against Germany.
Dr. Chvalkovsky fully endorsed this view, and assured Herr Hitler of loyal co-operation.
Dr. Chvalkovsky doubtless returned heme impressed with the necessity for strengthening Czechoslovakia’s economic relations with Sudotenland. and contributing his share towards an amicable settlement of Czecho-Hungar-ian relations.
