Defence Rifle Club Results
fishtail wind with changeable light was experienced on Sunday when members of the Whangarei Defence Rifle Shooting Club were at the range. Results of the shoots at 300 and 500 yards were: —J. H. Ashton, 48, 50, total 98; W. Norris, 47, 47, 94; W. Boreham, 43, 47, 90; J. Copeland, 42, 44 (handicap 5), 91; R, Allan, 44, 40 (5), 89; J. Litchfield, 40, 46, 86; J. Norris, 43, 43, 86; E. Foote, 38, 41 (5), 84; H. Austin, 36, 29 (10), 75; J. Williams, 43 at 500; F. Thackeray, 41 at 300.
