Wife Charged With Murder

When Jessie Eva Dickson (30) appeared on remand in the Police Court this morning the police withdrew the charge of assault and causing bodily harm, and substituted a charge of having murdered William Dickson on December 12.
Accused was remanded till January 12. William Dickson, aged 30, died in the Dunedin hospital from head injuries alleged to have been caused by an axe.
