WAIOTAMA.
A perfect summer’s day enabled children, parents and friends to enjoy the annual visit of Father Christmas, who came to distribute gifts to the school children. The tree, gaily decorated. was growing on the edge of a shelter belt, and a scythed space in front seated the company. Throe plays. “5.0.5.,” “Humpty Dumpty” and ‘‘Princess Fairyfoot,” were produced among the trees, whore a bank formed the circle and stalls for the audience. The young actors were in excellent homemade costumes, and played their parts with evident pleasure, which added to the enjoyment of those who were privileged to see them.
