Ladies’ Gardening Club Meeting

There was a good attendance of members at the meeting' of the Ladies Gardening Club, l held on April /6, presided over by the president, Mrs E. Timewell.

The afternoon took the form of an interesting demonstration on seedsowing, by Mrs Simons. Mrs Haden contributed a reading entitled "Fragrant. Familiar Names of Friendly Flowers,” after which a sale of slips and cutting's was held. Some very beautiful blooms were exhibited in the Fraser Memorial Cup competition. Hostesses for the afternoon were Mesdames Mclnnes, Porter. L. A. Morrison, McKenzie, J. H. Nicholls and G. S. B. Morrison.
