FEATHERSTON, This Day
After steady rain throughout the night, the weather cleared, although the course still remained heavy, for the second day of the Wairarapo Racing Club's meeting to-day. There was a good attendance. Results: —
Moroa Handicap, of 150 sovs.; seven furlongs—(l) Lady Montana, 9.3, 1; (4) Rowana, 7.0. 2; (7) Sunny Blonde, 7.13. 3. Also started; Sigurd, Trebor. Greek Anna, Minnow. Twilight Song. Half a length each way. Time: 1.33 1-5.
Novice Stakes, of 150 sovs,; weight 0.0; six furlongs.—(B) Sunder. 1; (1) Fitzjames, 2; (4) Royal Spades, 3. Scr; protectress, Quexona. Half a length; a head. Time: 1.31 3-5.
Autumn Handcap, of 300 sovs.; nine furlongs.—(4) Boomerang; 8.3, 1; (8) Liane, 7.6, 2; (2) Ned Cuttle, 8.3, 3. All started. A length; half a length. Time: 2.7 2-5.
Juvenile Handicap, of ISOsovs., five furlongs.—(l) Rarotonga, 8.4, 1; (2) Yours Truly, 7.4, 2; (8) Floral Robe, 7.0, 3. All started. Three lengths each way. Time, 1.5 2-5.
