The weather was again threatening for the second day of the Feiiding Jockey Club's Easter meeting. The course was soft following heavy rain. There was a moderate attendance. Results:—
Kimbolton Hurdles, of 150 sovs.; about It miles and 130 yds.— (5) Taumau, 9.0, 1; (1) Begorrah, 9.12, 2; (4) Brigadore. 10.8, 3. A length; four lengths. Time; 3.4 2-5. Waiata Stakes, of 100 sovs.; weight 8.7; six furlongs.—(2) Colincamps, I; (4) Pursuit, 2; (3) Rolling Home, 3. Length and a-half each way. Time: 1.19 4-5.
Easter Handicap, of 400sovs., one mile and a distance. — (5) Catalogue, 9.0, 1; (7) Siegmund, 8.6, 2; (2) Grateful, 7.11, 3. Scratched: Old Surrey, Lady Kyra. Three lengths; one and a-half lengths. Time, 2.1 2-5. Denbigh Handicap, of 25050v5., six furlongs.—<(3) Notium, 8.4, 1; (.4) Mittie, 7.8, 2; (2) Aureus, 8.2, 3. Scratched: Lady Kyra, Great Hope. A neck; three lengths. Time. 1.16 4-5.
