Davidge, Menzies Auckland Finalists

W .J. D'avidge and B. H. Menzies will contest the final of the Auckland provincial golf championship at Titirangi this afternoon, This is the first lime Davidge, who came from Wellington last year, h'ns played in tin’s event.

Menzies won the championship in 1931.

In the semi-final this morning, Davidge beat A. L. Browne, 4 and 2, and, Menzies beat A. L. Bryant. 3 and 2. Davidge, continuing his round, finished in 75, one over the scratch score. •

Menzies did not get a lead against Bryant until the 13th (“Wrecker”) where his opponent was penalised from the tee. Menzies then took two holes with three.
