Holding his title as amateur golf champion of Canterbury, J. GalknVay, Rangiora, has again proved himself the province’s outstanding player. The championship was decided at Shirley yesterday, over two rounds of stroke play, and Galloway's total of 149 (73 and 76) was 10 strokes ahead of the next best performance.
