The Game In Hokianga

The Omahuta Cricket Club visited Broadwood for a practice game, and were defeated by an. innings and 55 runs. Broadwood compiled 161 (M. Ferguson 48, retired). Omahuta made 70 in their first innings and 35 in their second. M. Irving, bowling for Broadwood, took nine wickets for 29. The Orawau club bad a practice game, and next Saturday play Broadwood, The Shield games start on February 5, and there will be a match, Mangomu v. Hokianga, at Kohukohu. on January 29.
