400,000 Civilians Ordered To Leave Madrid
[“The Times” Cahle.l LONDON, January 6. The Madrid correspondent of “The Times" says an official decree makei it compulsory for the 400,000 members of the civil population to evacuate Madrid within 30 days. Food ration cards will then be withdrawn.from all not engaged in military activities or auxiliary services. Those who still refuse to leave will be forcibly evacuated.
