UPROAR IN EGYPTIAN PARLIAMENT

(Received 2.30 a.m.) CAIRO, January 3. An uproar occurred in Parliament when Deputies shouted down the secretary deputed to read the King’s prorogation decree in the absence of Ministers, says a Cairo message. The dismissed Prime Minister, Nahas Pasha, whom the President refused permission to make a speech, remained on his seat declaiming his determination to speak in the name cf the Fatherland. Pandemonium ensued. The President ordered the clearing of the pres? and public galleries. No-Confidence Motion. Unable to restore decorum, the Speaker ordered the lights to be turned out. Despite this, Nahas Pasha lit matches to enable him to read a motion.
