Annual Tournament At Kensington
The Kensington annual full-rink two-day tourney commences next Saturday (New Year’s Day) and will be concluded on Monday. A fine entry of 22 rinks will participate. The whole of the tourney is being held on the Kensington area. The main green is in excellent condition, but the three-rink winter green is considered by some not to be up to tournament standard. To accommodate the expected overflow, the Whangarei club offered its top green, but this was not accepted by the Kensington club. The draw for the tourney will appear in tomorrow’s issue of the “Advocate.”
