J. H. Ashton Wins Ken Kelly Cup
RIFLE SHOOTING
A double shoot at 600 yards was held
by the Whangarei Defence Rifle Club over the week-end. Conditions were difficult with a fish-tail wind, bright light, intense heat and strong mirage. Rifleman J. H. Ashton secured a win in the Ken Kelly Cup series. Scores were as follows:
