Building Boom In Australia
WELLINGTON, This Day.
l- I was very impressed, both at Melbourne and Sydney and with the surprising amount of building going on, ’ said Mr E. P. Yaldwin, late general manager of the Commercial Bank of Australia in Wellington, who has just been in the Commonwealth. He said that in Sydney there were signs of 'a building boom of no mean proportions. He considered the potentialities of Australia unlimited,'and it was good to hear that relations between the Commonwealth and New Zealand were being steadily improved. |
