PORTLAND SCHOOL SPORTS
The Portland school sports were held on the recreation grounds on Friday, December 10. The day was fine and there was a good attendance of parents and friends.| The function was organised by Mr R. Strong, assistant master, who was capably assisted on the field by Miss Gregory, infant mistress, Mr Purchase and other willing helpers. The following are the results:—

The final results for the three houses were; Foxes. 61 points, 1; Reindeer, 491 points. 2; Hares. 381 points, 3. The Foxes thereby won the trophy for the ensuing year.
