AWANUI SCHOOL MASQUERADE BALL

On the night of Friday, December 3, Evans’s Hall was filled to capacity with gay and colourful costumes. The children were divided into three sections, according to standard, and the judges, Mrs Gair, Mrs Barry and Mrs Stone, had much difficulty in trying to pick the best costumes. The judges were presented with a bouquet of flowers each by three girls.
