Music And Drama At Kaitaia
The Kaitaia Amateur Musical 'and Dramatic Society held their annual meeting on Thursday night. The president, Mr D. Barry, in reporting on the year’s activities, said that two plays had been produced, and each was an outstanding success. The credit balance of £l6 shown in the balance sheet was a clear indication that the work of the society was appreciated by the public. It was to be regretted, however, that the membership was not increasing, and every endeavour should be made to add to their number. Mr Barry suggested to the incoming committee that an effort should be made to produce three plays during the coming season.
